The Beauty Room is delighted to introduce Lumina Intense Pulsed Light as the latest treatment in effective long term hair reduction, skin rejuvenation, red vein and pigmentation removal.
This medically approved technology requires the client to have a consultation and patch test 48 hours prior to the first treatment. A course of treatment may be required ( especially for hair reduction) as the light only disables the hair follicle in the active phase of growth of the hair cycle. It is not possible to state exactly how many sessions each individual may require as it will be dependent on many factors e.g skin and hair type, ethnic origin, hormonal balance etc. However, for hair removal we recommend a course of eight as a guideline with treatments taken in 4 - 8 week intervals. For skin rejuvenation 3 - 6 treatments are recommended and for red vein and pigment removal 1 - 3 sessions.

Please be aware that for all intense pulsed light treatments the client should not have been exposed to UV light for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment and should not have an active tan at the time of treatment.
